Sweetwater District/Pickett's
Mill District
Webelos to Boy Scout Crossover
and
Arrow of Light Ceremony
March 5
Clinton Nature Preserve
The Cvmpe Vekiwv Chapter of the Order of the Arrow, Egwa Tawa Dee Lodge 129 will be sponsoring
the Crossover Ceremony and Arrow of Light ceremony. The Webelos Crossover is the ceremony that
marks the end of the Cub Scout program and the beginning of the Boy Scout experience. Webelos who
have earned the Arrow of Light Award, the highest rank in Cub Scouting, and are at least 10 years old or
have completed the fifth grade are able to take part in the Crossover ceremony and join the ranks of Boy
Scouts.
Join the Sweetwater and Pickett's Mill Districts as we celebrate the achievements of the Webelos as the
move to the next level and join the many who have gone before them in the Boy Scouts. There is no cost
for units to attend or camp. Each unit must supply their own Arrow of Light awards.
**Webelos Leaders and Cubmasters, please contact your affiliate Boy Scout Troops prior to the
Crossover ceremony**
The ceremony will take place at the pavilion behind the old farmhouse. All participating units will need
to be at Clinton by 6:30 with line up at 6:45. The Arrow of Light Ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM at the
campfire.
Units can register online via this link. Please indicate the total number of Scouts crossing over as well as
the total number of Arrow of Light recipients.
Please contact the District Order of the Arrow Chapter Advisor, Larry Cohran with any questions.
